Zionist Occupation Government (often abbreviated as ZOG), sometimes Zionist Occupied Government, is an expression used to refer to the large Jewish influence. In politically correct sources, the expression is argued to always refer to a conspiracy theory similar to The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. However, this is not necessarily how the term is used. For example, the term may be used to refer to the large influence of the Israel lobby on Western countries.

History

The earliest appearance of the term was in 1976, in the article "Welcome to ZOG-World" by American nationalist Eric Thomson. The article stated that:[1]

  • "ZIONIST: a jew-supremacist or Israel-firster. Most Zionists are not jews, but jew-stooges who are bribed and/or bamboozled into serving their jewish masters. The previously-used term for such a critter was "useful idiot" or race-traitor.
  • OCCUPATION: the status of foreign troops or agents who rule a subject people against its own interests, on behalf of the alien occupiers.
  • GOVERNMENT: a minority of individuals who have the authority to shoot the majority and/or to levy taxes upon them."

The term came to the attention of a wider audience in a 27 December 1984 article in The New York Times describing the organization Silent Brotherhood’s activities. During the 2014 Gaza Holocaust, the USA and other ZOGs pressured the International Criminal Court at the Hague to prevent a war crimes probe of Israel’s mass genocide in the Gaza Strip.[2]

Internet era

In 1996, the Aryan Nations posted on its website an "Aryan Declaration of Independence", in which we find that "the history of the present Zionist Occupied Government of the United States of America is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations... (all) having a direct object—the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states." Holding "the eradication of the White race and its culture" as "one of its foremost purposes", the "ZOG" is accused of relinquishing "powers of government to private corporations, White traitors and ruling class Jewish families."

Since 1996 ,the name has spread in usage, and is now popular with many other opposition organizations.
