An example of anti-whiteness. In 2017 BLM activist Ashleigh Shackelford a self-described speaker and “trainer” said that all white people are racists. Not stopping there, Shackelford went on to add that she doesn’t even see white people as “human.” “So even when you’re on your path to trying to figure out how to be a better human being, I believe that white people are born into not being human [laughs],” she said.[1]

Anti-White, when discussing race, is negative views and/or actions against whites (→ racism).

  • If “racism” is understood as the ideology or negative attitudes [...] it would be surprising, to say the least, if there were no instance – be it only reactive – of “anti-White racism”. In fact, it is not very difficult to find some. An “ideological” example would be the statement by Elijah Muhammad, the president of the American organisation Nation of Islam from 1934 to 1975, that all Whites are like “demons”. An “attitudinal” example in France is the video that rapper Nick Conrad posted online in September 2018 entitled “Hang the Whites”, which resulted in a 5,000 euro fine for incitatement to commit a crime. In both cases, the phrase “anti-White racism” does not seem to be a misnomer. — Prof. Dr. Daniel Sabbagh, graduate of the University of Paris, in: Is There Such a Thing as “Anti-White Racism”?, Multidisciplinary Research Journal "Cogito", 16 November 2020

  • “The Democrats have moved from anti-Black racism to anti-White racism. There’s something in the DNA of the Democratic Party that requires it to be fascinated with skin color. It may go back to the fact that it was the party of slavery. It was the party of segregation. It’s kind of hard to know.” — Newt Gingrich, former House speaker, in November 2021
  • "I think there is a definite anti-white feeling in this country and that can’t be allowed."Donald Trump in a 2024 interview with TIME Magazine
