Oskar Fromhold Friedrich Olof von Lindequist (10 December 1838 – 16 April 1915) was a German officer of the Prussian Army and the Imperial German Army, finally Generaloberst with the rank as Generalfeldmarschall and Adjutant General of Kaiser Wilhelm II.

Family

Oskar (originally Oscar) was the so of Lieutenant Colonel Karl Gustav von Lindequist (1795–1874) and his first wife Lonny Luise Friederike Babette Mathilde, née von Mayer (1808–1846). Wilhelm Friedrich "Fritz" Ferdinand Olof von Lindequist (1862–1945), Gouverneur of German South-West Africa, was one of his cousins. His sister was:[3]

Marriage

Premier-Lieutenant von Lindequist married on 20 September 1867 at Gut Woitzel his fiancée Anna Karoline Albertine von Podewils (b. 21 February 1847 in Magdeburg), daughter of Kriminal-Gerichtsrat Julius Otto Sigismund von Podewils (1807–1883) and his wife Molly, née Torgany (1807–1876). Their children were:
