Anton Denikin

Anton Ivanovich Denikin (16 December 1872 – 8 August 1947) was an officer in the Imperial Russian Army, who led the anti-Communist (“White”) forces on the southern front during the Russian Civil War. He later moved to France, and then the United States. He was also a writer, notably on the Russian Civil War.
