Gneomar Ernst Hans Karl von Natzmer (17 May 1832 – 2 October 1896) was a German officer of the Prussian Army, finally Oberst (Colonel) and commandant of Torgau.

Family

Descent

Gneomar von Natzmer came from the old Pomeranian noble family Natzmer and was the son as well as the 9th and last child of Colonel a. D. Ernst August Ludwig von Natzmer (1786–1864) and his wife Auguste Ferdinandine Henriette Karoline, née von Eickstedt (1796–1838). he had six sisters and two brothers. His older brother Christoph Ernst Karl Oldwig von Natzmer (b. 21 November 1819 in Dammitsch) was a major and Eskadron commander in the 2. Schlesisches Dragoner-Regiment Nr. 8 and fell () on 27 June 1866 during the Battle of Nachod.

Marriage

On 21 May 1866 in Berlin, Captain von Natzmer married his fiancée Johanna Emma Ludowika von Blumenthal (b. 1 August 1845 in Quackenburg; d. 29 September 1918).[4] The had seven children:[5]
