Jens Peter Petersen (sometimes also Jens-Peter; 12 October 1893 – 20 August 1971) was a German officer, finally Major General of the Luftwaffe in World War II. It can be assumed that he was related to Major Karl-August Petersen, recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.

He became the first air base commandant in Schönwalde while also leading the 12th Aviation Training Regiment.
