Erich Alexander Max Theodor Wollmar (b. 1886) was a German officer since 1905, finally Oberst (Colonel) of the Heer of the Wehrmacht in World War II. He was the son of Generalleutnant Erich Wollmar. Oberst Wollmar's death date is unknown, although it is assumed, he survived the war.

Family

Erich Wollmar was the son of Generalleutnant z. D. (4. Ingenieur-Inspektion in Metz until 1906/07) Robert Maximilian Erich Wollmar (b. 25 May 1845 in Luckau; d. 9 February 1913 in Braunschweig), a decorated veteran of the Franco-German War, and his wife Eleonore "Elly" Marie Elisabeth, née Schaeffer (b. 16 February 1859; d. 2 September 1934).

Marriage

In 1923, Major a. D. Wollmar married the divorced Gertrud Luise Marie Else Freifrau von Toll, née Schünemann (b. 22 September 1890 in Eisenhütte near Dassel; d. 1975). Gertrud had married on 24 October 1910 Wilhelm Raban Lucas Paul Freiherr von Toll (b. 22 March 1878 in Oldenburg), Inspektor des Königlich Preußischen Remonte-Depots Königshorst (provision of fresh horses, particularly for military purposes). They had one son: Kurt Raban Lucas Paul Hugo Max Adolf Clemens Freiherr von Toll (b. 19 September 1911 in Hunnesrück, Provinz Hannover). The marriage was later divorced and Gertrud met Erich Wollmar. They married and lived in Kiel (Seeblick 5) and Hamburg (Kanzleistraße 51).
