Karl Friedrich Otto Schönberg (also Carl, sometimes Schoenberg; b. 1862) was a German officer of the Prussian Army and the Imperial German Army in World War I, finally Major of the Reserves as well as lord of the manor (Gut Wasmerslage, Kreis Osterburg, Regierungsbezirk Magdeburg, Province of Saxony), Oberamtmann (senior district official/chief bailiff) and active member of the Pommerscher Landbund, an association of patriotic landowners.

Death
His death date is not known (possibly c. 1929), but in 1924 he held a speech for the Landbund warning against the "Jewish-Marxist spirit" within the Weimar Republic.[1]
Family
Carl/Karl was the son of Rittmeister a. D. (ret.) and lord of the manor (Gut Lang-Goslin/Langgoslin) Otto Schönberg (1838–1902)[2] and his wife Bertha Friederike Manon Hermina, née Bensch (1841–1928). Father Otto sold the manor and the vast lands in June 1890 for over a half of a million marks and continued as a senior civil servant of the village (Oberbeamter der Ansiedlung zu Langgoslin).
