Erich Albert Moritz Ernst von Warburg (5 August 1864 – 9 November 1924) was a German officer of the Prussian Army, the Imperial German Army in WWI and the Vorläufige (preliminary) Reichwehr, finally Generalmajor and brigade commander. In June 1919 he was places at disposal (z. D.) and de facto retired.

Family
Descent
Erich was the son of retired 1st Lieutenant of the Prussian Army Erich Karl Friedrich Wilhelm von Warburg (1828–1904) and his wife Hildegard Marie Agnes, née Prittwitz von Gaffron (1828–1906). His father was Ehrenritter Order of St. John (as of 31 December 1866) as state elder (Landesältester) and lord of the manor (Gut Alt Waltersdorf near Habelschwerdt). Erich was the youngest child and only son, he had three older sisters.
Marriage
On 25 September 1896, 1st Lieutenant von Warburg married his fiancée Luise Freiin von Rotenhan (b. 23 January 1874 at Gut Buchwald).[6] They had three sons:
- Dodiko Erich Hermann (b. 8 February 1900 in Schweidnitz), commissioned in 1918 as 2nd Lieutenant in 1. Brandenburgisches Dragoner-Regiment Nr. 2, but probably too late to see action during WWI
- Hermann-Wilhelm Albert Moritz Karl (b. 8 January 1901 in Schweidnitz; d. 18 April 1971 in Celle, West Germany); ∞ Wilhelmine-Christa Vera von Bachmayr (b. 27 January 1921 in Potsdam)
- Albrecht Erich Eberhard Friedrich (b. 12 March 1903 in Breslau), officer of the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht, ⚔ in 1945
