Youth for Wallace
Youth for Wallace was an independent political group started by Willis Carto in support of Alabama Governor George Wallace’s third party campaign for President of the United States in 1968. The group was designed to reach the White voter under 29 who was opposed to the anti-war and civil rights movements. Carto used the mailing list from the Youth for Wallace to start the National Youth Alliance which later became the National Alliance.
