Hello Dadas, and welcome to Metapedia! Please provide a brief statement of your interest in Metapedia here on your talk page.

You may find some help about how to get started and some hints about how you can help the project in the Community portal. Also see the Help and Copyright pages for more information. Enjoy your stay and feel free to ask an Administrator for help if you have any questions.

Style guide

Please see Metapedia:Style guide.

Suitable topics

Not all topics are suitable for Metapedia. Please see Metapedia:Content guidelines.

Wikipedia articles

  • To simply copy-and-paste Wikipedia articles to Metapedia is in general discouraged. If the topic is suitable for Metapedia, then the Wikipedia article is often biased and needs editing.
  • If you do import text from Wikipedia, please add wikipedia at the end of the article you are editing. Add wikipedia PC to the top of the article if you think that part of its content is biased and should be rewritten. This should preferably by done immediately by the person importing the text.

Categories

  • Please add categories to each new page using . Biographical articles, for example, often need categories regarding the topic they deal with, their nationality and their birth year and death year. For instance, for a Dutch philologer born in 1624 and deceased in 1699 add: . Even a bad category is better than no category (a bad one can be modified at any time later).
  • In Wikipedia articles there are sometimes sadly dozens of categories added, which Metapedia does not have, and which are often not helpful in Metapedia. Please think about whether a category is useful, and when it is, look which categories Metapedia does have, and when Metapedia does not have a useful category you want to use, you can create it and categorize the category itself. A simple way is clicking on unknown (red tinted) categories at the end of your articles you think to be expedient and to add them.

Copyright

  • Do not import copyrighted texts from other sites whose copyright you do not hold and avoid uploading copyrighted images.

Images

  • When uploading images, write a short description in the summary box; typically it is recommendable to describe the sources, for example including an entitled link or bibliographical information. You can also add an image copyright code. Such as image for Metapedia image (no copyright information) and PD image for Public domain image. See Help for more information.

Template and signing

Per firmare.PNG
  • Use the template on the upper left side of the editing window, that increases work speed. On the picture the arrow points to the sign button, the other buttons are helpful, too. Talk pages comments should be signed. It is also possible to sign using ~~~~

Your posts

Welcome to the English-language Metapedia. It is important for you to examine some of the various posts and to use the correct formats. In addition you must provide proper and credible sources. Take a look at Treaty of Versailles. Here you will get some ideas on layouts etc, sources and categories. Don't just start a page with a single line and leave it for others to do the work, as in White Lives Matter. I would also point out that contrary to what the Far-Left say about Metapedia, we are not a National Socialist site. Anything we post on this period is for historical purposes, not promotion. Thanks. Re: 'Moldavian' Wiki

Your note in article on 'Chakavian Wikislavia': Recently you inserted a strong lingual comment in the list of Wikislavia's language Wikis.

  • 1. I agree almost completely with you that so-called 'Moldavian' tongue was mostly Romanian language transcribed in Cyrillic alphabet: I am no native Romanian, but I understand the isolated Istro-Romanian (Rumeri kuvinta or Kiribirul) spoken closely at my native site in Adriatic coast.
  • 2. However, this minute 'Moldavian' Wiki physically exists within diverse polyglot Wikislavias (although with few Cyrillic stubs - hardly dozen ones), and it cannot be simply omitted - that would be disinformation on listed Wikislavias.
  • 3. The main problem was technical one: in this article on Chakavian Wikislavia, the list of polyglot Wikislavias within its lower green frame was not a free new addition here, but the copy of original Main page in Chakavian Wiki, and such inserted comment should be its falsified addition. Thus it must be moved out of original Wiki-frame, e.g. as a footnote (so I transferred them downside): you can imagine that e.g. as a similar politic commentary artificially interpolated amid your Main Page of Romanian Metapedia, instead of in additional discussion?

Sincerely, Yoshamya, 20. 05. 2008.

Jewish communists

Hi, Dadas, (Listă de comunişti evrei) I suggest you to alphabetize the list to make easier to find a Person. Photos and some data would be also useful. On German metapedia there is also a nice list: http://de.metapedia.org/wiki/Liste_j%C3%BCdischer_Pers%C3%B6nlichkeiten with photos. Is Iliescu not a Jew? He looks exactly as one.--Hu1 19:10, 5 November 2008 (CET)

I will take a look on the list. It is not alphabetized because I tried to put first the main liders, but I will alphabetize the list because is easy to work with it.
The grandfather of Iliescu was a jew. I found the information on an article by Gheorghe Gavrila Copil who wrote about the jews who got the power in Romania after 1989. quotation: 7.Ion Iliescu. Translation: 7.Ion Iliescu. The grandfather by father was Vasili Ivanovici (baptized Ilici), russian jew, Bolshevik, convict, who ran from Russia, and wanted by the tsarist police. He changed his name in Iliescu, around the year 1900. The third jewish government hit Dadas 07:20, 6 November 2008 (CET)
This list was taken from the same author's work: List of the Communist Jews from Romania. I will take a look on it too. Dadas 08:22, 6 November 2008 (CET)_

Thanks. In Hungary all communist leaders were Jews, except 1919: Garbai Sándor and 1945: Dobi István (He looks like an ape.) I believe, exactly the same is true for all other countries, for example Tito, Lenin, Stalin, Gorbatshev were also Jews. --Hu1 17:14, 6 November 2008 (CET) --Hu1 17:14, 6 November 2008 (CET)

Menachem Begin quotes

I will research the Menachem Begin quotes and see if I can find an English source for reference. Thanks, NatAll75 01:44, 18 November 2008 (CET)

Portal:Nationalism around the World 1945-1979

I could use some help setting up this portal. Could you take a look at it? Thanks NatAll75 15:28, 25 January 2009 (CET)
I would not consider Ceausescu a nationalist, however some in your country may see him that way. I would focus on what remained of the Iron Guard and any resistance groups that emerged during the period of Romania Communism. Also, look at the monarchist movements in Romania at home or abroad which could be considered nationalist. NatAll75 22:30, 25 January 2009 (CET)

Two Moldavia articles

There are two Moldavia articles on English Metapedia: Republic of Moldova and Moldavia. Could you please merge the two and decide which one to keep? Thanks NatAll75 14:07, 12 August 2009 (CEST)
