What do you think about a template with this text, that we can put on newly copied Wikipedia articles?

Article clean up and pictures

Thanks for cleaning up the articles on Victoria and the Isle of Man, et all and adding those pictures. I was planning on uploading a the Manx flag. I have been adding new articles and doing other clean work, I have been adding copyright tags to images. You can see them here Image Copyright Templates. I do not know the official policy on image copyright information, but I did make the templates and have been using them.-- Doktor Faustus 18 September 2007

Copying wikicode

I have been copying the source to the article because then we get all the references in wikicode (<ref> and the like). This saves us the trouble of manually reinserting all the references. There is a problem when the references use special Wikipedia templates for formatting though, then it turns out to be a mess. Hoder 13:51, 26 September 2007 (CEST)

I can see that you guys have done a great job. It looks promising. We have also gotten a lot of interest from people who want to start Metapedias in own languages. We just launched the Slovak language version, and have some other pending. --Günther 21:57, 3 October 2007 (CEST)

Vandalisms

Copyright template

Metapedia uses GFDL license, after editing an article you automatically agree to license it under the GFDL. So there's no need to use the copyright template when copying from other Metapedias, because GFDL allows you tu reuse it in all textes under the same license. Even Wikipedia is ok. Other sources may not be under GFDL license, so it's better no to copy or to put the copyright template on it. Bh3u4m 12:54, 18 April 2008 (CEST)

I have heard of Column88 from a few people over the years. No one had ever said it exsisted, or that it didn't exist. You care to nominate this article for deletion? Thanks. CHM8318 December 14 2009 (6:04 GMT)

The troll did not stay too long and fortunately we have not had too many problems lately. As a result our general policy seems to be to unprotect most articles except for the obvious ones that are usually targeted by trolls. - NatAll75 21:24, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

I deleted the entire article. MikeV is nothing more than a drunken trouble causer. There is a reason why he get's banned from everywhere and there's a reason why I came back after 4 years to do so. Creating a article on a webforum who's members are primarily of English decent and National Socialists, slandering them is considered quality material on here? I asked Mike if he was going to re-write the article, and he didn't, so it got deleted. I'm sure he told me he was going to forward a entire conversation to some MetaPedia ADMIN's, of course he would have left out the insults and what-not.MikeV is capable of writing good quality articles.
