Pope Leo XIII
Pope Leo XIII (2 March 1810 - 20 July 1903), original name Vincenzo Gioacchino Pecci, was pope between 1878 and 1903.
Rerum Novarum (Latin meaning "of the new things") was a writing issued by Leo XIII in 1891. It has been interpreted as a Catholic response to the argued exploitation of workers. It influenced Corporatism and Distributism.
