Style guide
Please see Metapedia:Style guide.
Suitable topics
Not all topics are suitable for Metapedia. Please see Metapedia:Content guidelines.
Wikipedia articles
- To simply copy-and-paste Wikipedia articles to Metapedia is in general discouraged. If the topic is suitable for Metapedia, then the Wikipedia article is often biased and needs editing.
- If you do import text from Wikipedia, please add wikipedia at the end of the article you are editing. Add wikipedia PC to the top of the article if you think that part of its content is biased and should be rewritten. This should preferably by done immediately by the person importing the text.
Categories
- Please add categories to each new page using . Biographical articles, for example, often need categories regarding the topic they deal with, their nationality and their birth year and death year. For instance, for a Dutch philologer born in 1624 and deceased in 1699 add: . Even a bad category is better than no category (a bad one can be modified at any time later).
- In Wikipedia articles there are sometimes sadly dozens of categories added, which Metapedia does not have, and which are often not helpful in Metapedia. Please think about whether a category is useful, and when it is, look which categories Metapedia does have, and when Metapedia does not have a useful category you want to use, you can create it and categorize the category itself. A simple way is clicking on unknown (red tinted) categories at the end of your articles you think to be expedient and to add them.
Copyright
- Do not import copyrighted texts from other sites whose copyright you do not hold and avoid uploading copyrighted images.
Images
- When uploading images, write a short description in the summary box; typically it is recommendable to describe the sources, for example including an entitled link or bibliographical information. You can also add an image copyright code. Such as image for Metapedia image (no copyright information) and PD image for Public domain image. See Help for more information.
Template and signing
- Use the template on the upper left side of the editing window, that increases work speed. On the picture the arrow points to the sign button, the other buttons are helpful, too. Talk pages comments should be signed. It is also possible to sign using

Your posts
Welcome to the English-language Metapedia. It is important for you to examine some of the various posts and to use the correct formats. In addition you must provide proper and credible sources. Take a look at Treaty of Versailles. Here you will get some ideas on layouts etc, sources and categories. Don't just start a page with a single line and leave it for others to do the work, as in White Lives Matter. I would also point out that contrary to what the Far-Left say about Metapedia, we are not a National Socialist site. Anything we post on this period is for historical purposes, not promotion. Thanks. On the article "César Tort"
Would you be so kind as to create a redirect from "Cesar Tort" to "César Tort"? I could do it but since the article is about me I'd prefer that someone else does it. Cheers. —Chechar 20:23, 9 June 2018 (CEST)
- There is already such a redirect. Upplysning 10:01, 10 June 2018 (CEST)
Stop spamming
Stop mass spamming links and do not add material that can be seen as incitement to any kind of criminality! To be clear: Metapedia is not associated with Pierce or any related organization. Upplysning (talk) 16:30, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- There is no incitement, I'm sure you haven't read it. By the way, I did not know that it is uncorrect to cite Pierce... Did I mention The Turner Diaries? No. Pierce was a strong critic of developments regarding Whites. There's nothing wrong citing his views on history, the World Wars and Jews and religion.
- I set links strictly according to the subjects!

- You have mass spammed links to material you obviously have some kind of personal association with, such as links in more than 20 articles to "Axe of Perun: All Christians Are Cucks". Regarding Pierce, do not link to an article with a title on teaching treason and killing a group. Upplysning (talk) 16:55, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
- The pdf pamphlet "ALL CHRISTIANS ARE CUCKS" that you have been mass spamming lacks an author and lacks sources for most claims, many of which are problematic. Your mass spamming of it to numerous articles makes Metapedia look weird and is harmful. The pamphlet also asks for money, presumably for yourself.
- You have also been mass spamming other material that you likely have some personal association with.
- Looking at your contributions over the past six years, they consist almost only of mass spamming, with minimal other contributions. When your mass spamming has been removed, you have later added it back. Your purpose here is obviously to use Metapedia for harmful mass spamming. Upplysning (talk) 15:08, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
- I could not be here very often. Therefore, provided the opportunity to contribute, I sometimes inserted external links which I considered to be really important, into more than one article. Christianity covers a broad range, e.g. it has to do not only with religion but with values, identity, race, self-awareness etc. Therefore it is readily justified to insert multiple links, insofar there is a thematic context. And this was the case concerning the very important link of Axe about Christianity and other links.
