Trimming of the article

Much of the article was a long text of describing the aims and fine details of treaty in extreme detail and without giving sources. I trimmed this material which was likely of little interest to most readers as well as unreliable by the lack of sources. The article was also poor at summarizing the outcome of the treaty. If anyone wants to restore this fine detail material I will not object but will mark the article as needing sources and clean-up. Upplysning 13:34, 15 June 2015 (CEST)

Many thanks for that. You will see that before I came to this page that several others had started and edited it. I did try and tidy much of it up. Given that the Versailles Treaty was the cause of so much anguish, death, and destruction in Europe, maybe a definitive article is required so that browsers get a fuller understanding? Well, look at https://en.metapedia.org/wiki/Revisionist_views_on_the_causes_of_the_World_Wars Not a source in sight. Detail is important.
