Talk:Sieg Heil

Why is a picture of the National Socialist Movement‎‎ (USA) on this page? which is totally unnecessary. --Estellenation 14:26, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

More context added, I think, that should make things clear. --Crusader (talk) 19:58, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
The NSM picture you have added is bad optics. (National Socialist Movement‎‎ USA, is known for: yelling racial slurs, fat and ugly members and exaggerated use of uniforms and other Third Reich symbolism (Hollywood Nazism). This picture is better:
A mass "Sieg Heil" during a rally in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district of Berlin in 1935.

Thanks for the picture, I have used it. I don't really care, I am at an age, where I would rather have these kind than any single communist or BLM terrorist. --Crusader (talk) 00:59, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

That the NSM picture is on the NSM page I can understand but not here on this page. Like I said its bad optics. --Estellenation 12:47, 16 April 2022 (UTC)
It fits perfectly, shows how the term "Sieg Heil" ist still alive and kicking after 80 years and more! Sieg Heil did not die 1945 ... like so many things. --Crusader (talk) 17:55, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

Sieg Heil refers to Greater Germany and nowhere else. Odd-bods in the USA do not count. They have their own page. Putting the American picture here degrades the entire business. They have their own page. Matt58 (talk) 06:39, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

Exactly. The right thing here is to remove this NSM picture from this page. --Estellenation 12:37, 20 April 2022 (UTC)

Seig Heil should be used in the German context only. Even Rockwell realized this, replacing "Sieg Heil" with "White Power".NatAll75 (talk) 13:17, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
