Query

"Many of the islands became dominions of the Japanese Empire"? Which ones ever reached this status? They already had all the islands which they received from the Germans under the Versailles Treaty.Matt58 (talk) 16:30, 5 November 2023 (UTC)

Good question: This was entered by Andhikaryatama in 2014. Maybe this should be added: "In December 1941, Guam, Wake Island, and Hong Kong fell to the Japanese, followed in the first half of 1942 by the Philippines, the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), Malaya, Singapore, and Burma." --Crusader (talk) 19:11, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
