Ralph Forbes
Ralph Pern Forbes (born 1940) originally from Flint, Michigan was a Captain in George Lincoln Rockwell’s American Nazi Party. In 1961 Forbes and two other party members were arrested in Philadelphia protesting the movie Exodus.[1]
On May 22, 1964 Forbes was the west coast leader of the party and spoke to a student audience of 6,500 at the University of California in Berkley.
In an August 1965 letter Rockwell suggested to Forbes to start a Christian Identity ministry which would become a front for the party.
Ralph Forbes formed The Sword of Christ Good News Ministries in London, Arkansas. Ralph Forbes became a perennial candidate running for a number of elected offices in Arkansas.
Forbes was the Arkansas campaign manager for David Duke's 1988 bid for president.
Forbes brought a lawsuit against a public television station that keep him out of a debate because he was an independent candidate with little public support. The case went to the Supreme Court which ruled 6 to 3 in favor of the public television station.[2]
