• Karl Arndt (1889–1943), Dr. med. from Guben, Sanitätsoffizier, missing in action in Stalingrad since 23 January 1943 as Oberstarzt of the Wehrmacht; posthumously (nachträglich) promoted to Generalarzt on 1 October 1944
