Gustav August Wilhelm Malotki von Trzebiatowski (17 November 1808 – 21 July 1873) was a German officer of the Prussian Army, finally Generaleutnant z. D. (Lieutenant-General at disposal) and a veteran of the Franco-Prussian War.

Family

August was the son of the Knight of the Pour le Mérite Master of Cavalry (Rittmeister) August Ferdinand Constantin von Malotki (1782–1852), Lord of Schlawkau, and his wife Karoline, née von Manteuffel-Kielpinski (1783–1868). He had two brothers and one sister. His brother Hermann, also a Prussian officer, went missing (verschollen) in the USA in 1864.

Marriage

Sekondeleutnant Malotki von Trzebiatowski married c. 1834 his fiancée Ernestine "Erna" von Alvensleben aus dem Hause Redekin (1808–1881), who received the Cross of Merit for Women and Girls (Verdienstkreuz für Frauen und Jungfrauen) for her duty as a volunteer nurse in the Franco-Prussian War. They had three children

  • Karl (1836–1868), Hauptmann of the Garde-Artillerie-Regiment
  • Helene Elise (1838/39–1924) ∞ 1861 Friedrich Wilhelm Oskar Hahn (1831–1898); Generalleutnant Johannes von Hahn was their son.
