Carl Gustav Ernst von Petersdorff (22 August 1841 – 25 February 1903) was a German officer of the Prussian Army, finally Generalleutnant zur Disposition (Lieutenant General at disposal) and division commander.

Ernst was the son of Royal Prussian district administrator (Landrat) in Küstrin and Fideikommissherr at Bootz, Prignitz Heinrich Karl Joachim von Petersdorff (1797–1888) and his wife Wilhelmine Ulrike von Blücher (1812–1893).
Marriage
On 27 May 1867 in Hohenholz, 1st Lieutenant von Petersdorff married his fiancée Jenny Euphemie Sophie Gräfin von Eickstedt-Peterswaldt (b. 10 November 1845).[3] Their four known children are:[4]
