Ten Million Americans Mobilizing for Justice was a hastily formed committee of individuals and supporters of Senator Joseph McCarthy to rally the American people against his upcoming censure by the United States Senate. On November 29, 1954 13,000 people rallied at Madison Square Garden in support of the besieged senator from Minnesota. Several of the founders of the group were previously associated with the America First Committee and organizations associated with Father Coughlin. It was hoped by some that Senator McCarthy would lead this group in the formation of a third political party.
