Talk:Waffen-SS foreign volunteers and conscripts
The "Our honor is loyalty" poster was for the Germanic SS in Norway not Waffen-SS. --Estellenation 14:30, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, you are right, I didn't even know, we had an article to that. --Crusader (talk) 14:47, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- The point is, the poster was made for Germanic SS in Norway not Waffen-SS. So you mean there is no difference between Germanic SS and Waffen-SS? BTW it was not a recruitment poster but a decoration poster. --Estellenation 17:41, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, but it was made for the Germanic SS and it was a decoration poster. See:
- Enlightening the poster as a recruitment poster for the Waffen-SS can be misleading. It will fit much better on a site like Germanic SS. (maybe create a page?) --Estellenation 13:05, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
- A small pointer: The beautiful picture (poster, postcards and so on) was used for promotion (at least), not decoration. The description word decoration is used after the war from someone who doesn't understand. It was, of course, wisely created to support and therefore promote the ideology of the Germanic SS Norway. --Crusader (talk) 19:33, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
