A very strange page. Libya had been an Italian colony since 1912. I understood that during WWII following the failed Italian offensive against Egypt, and the German efforts to shore them up, that the loss of Libya to the Axis powers was due to the British forces, not the USA. Yes, but the article does not investigate the non-existent relationship between Libya and the Third Reich, it compares the treatment of National Socialist Germany and the state Libya under Gaddafi by the Americans. --Crusader (talk) 13:37, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
