Talk:Hollywood Nazism
Mention the “Hollywood Nazism” of e.g. Schinder's List and “The Pianist” or “Inglourious Basterds”
It's true that Hollywood also shows the “skinhead Nazis”, but I also understand “Hollywood Nazism” to mean taking over “more serious” (at least in the public eye) films like Schinder's List. There, the typical “Nazi” is portrayed as a villain whose only mission in life is to kill all the Jews of Germany/the world. Depending on the movie and the character, there are the “genius and macho leader villains” or the stupid and command-following cold villains. Or the “Nazis” who want to conquer the world. It is simply a caricature of National Socialism, which has nothing to do with reality.

- This article needs a lot of editing, and the second picture has nothing to do with the topic. In general, one of our worst articles. Compare the German article. --Crusader (talk) 21:30, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
- I have at least changed the tone of the article, but there is so much to say about this topic in general, especially the influence on the boomer generation and the real political perception of National Socialism --Heaviness1225 (talk) 08:14, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
