So the German Empire did not end in 1918–19 but in 1945? This is confusing. --Estellenation 17:32, 27 December 2021 (UTC)

The German Empire ended in November 1918. No-one seriously contests this. If I have to engage in an edit war against fantasies it will end in blocks. Matt58 (talk) 09:13, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
That Crusader thinks it did not end in 1918 is strange. --Estellenation 15:32, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
The German Empire ended, but the name "Deutsches Reich" did not ... you know exactly what I mean and how I mean it. --Crusader (talk) 00:32, 29 December 2021 (UTC)

Please remove the Weimar Republic and the 1933-45 period from this page as it is about the Second Empire. Matt58 (talk) 07:20, 1 May 2023 (UTC)

There is no explanation of the Weimar Republic, which has it's own article, but of course the succession has to be included (with internal link). --Crusader (talk) 15:46, 1 May 2023 (UTC)

I am not going to argue with you. The Second Empire can to an abrupt end in Nov 1918. There are links on the page to the Weimar Republic. Matt58 (talk) 13:06, 2 May 2023 (UTC)

You ment the Heads of State section, why didn't you say so? Of course you are right, no need for that. I hope you like the "Chronological process", most people think it was a one day decision, bit it was a process, which we now explain to our readers. --Crusader (talk) 13:59, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
