Serge and Beate Klarsfeld
Serge Klarsfeld and Beate Klarsfeld are known for politically correct Holocaust activism, "Nazi Hunting", attacks on West German leaders, and support for Israel. Serge Klarsfeld was born to a family of Romanian Jews and Serge Beate was born to a Christian German family.
After German reunification and the opening of the Stasi records of East Germany, in 2012 it was revealed that both Klarsfelds had been regular Stasi contacts. Beate had received incriminating information about the alleged wartime activities of West German politicians and payment from Stasi.
