Robert Byron Drury Blakeney
Brigadier-General Robert Byron Drury Blakeney (1872-1952) was the British Fascisti president from 1924 to 1926. He was the Editor in Chief of their newspaper the The Fascist Bulletin and spook at fascist meetings on November 26, 1924 and February 1925. He left the British Fascisti in the spring of 1926 losing the leadership to the group’s founder Rotha Beryl Lintorn-Orman (1895-1935). He was also a member of the a Imperial Fascist League, The Britons, the BUF, and the Nordic League. During World War Two he served in the Home Guard avoiding internment.
