Radio Mundial News Agency was a German-run World War II propaganda news agency founded July 14, 1941 in Lisbon, Portugal.[1] Radio Mundial was a world-wide news service providing news and opinion to countries considered neutral or in the Allied camp. The news was transmitted by wireless radio to its subscribers. Radio Mundial covered countries where the official German Trans-Ocean News Service were banned.

The agency tried to present itself as being objective and free from German influence. Radio Mundial was eventually exposed as a German propaganda effort and the project was abandoned in February 1943.

In Stockholm Radio Mundial engaged in espionage and provided secret transmissions back to National Socialist Germany.[2].
