League of Empire Loyalists
The League of Empire Loyalists (LEL, 1954 - 1967) was a British organisation opposing the dissolution of the British Empire, led by A. K. Chesterton. It became increasingly concerned with the mass immigration and merged with the British National Party (1960) (formed from two breakaway groups from the League of Empire Loyalists) to form the National Front.
The organisation's journal Candour went on to support the National Front while A. K. Chesterton was its leader. Following that it became independent.
