Henry Ford's Peace Ship to Europe was an attempt launched by the American industrialist Henry Ford to end the World War I conflict in 1915. Ford came under the influence of a Jewish pacifist from Hungary named Rosika Schwimmer. Ford was persuaded to finance a Peace Ship, the "Oscar II" of the American-Scandinavian Line to sail to the ports of Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen in Northern Europe.
