Dylann Roof
Dylann Roof (born 1994) is an American mass murderer and sentenced to death for the 2015 Charleston church shooting which killed nine and injured one, all Blacks. The White Dylann Roof has stated that he committed the shooting in hopes of igniting a race war.
AltRight.com and Occidental Dissent writer Hunter Wallace has stated that "documents unsealed this week reveal that less than two months earlier a court-appointed psychiatrist had found him to have a host of disorders and that several months before the June 2015 massacre Mr. Roof had described himself as deeply depressed. [....] "suffers from Social Anxiety Disorder, a Mixed Substance Abuse Disorder, a Schizoid Personality Disorder, depression by history, and a possible Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The document also revealed that the defense offered evidence of an autism diagnosis at a competency hearing on Nov. 21 and 22. The hearing also featured testimony “that the defendant’s high IQ is compromised by a significant discrepancy between his ability to comprehend and to process information and a poor working memory,” [...] In his jailhouse diary, he mentioned that he has Hashimoto’s disease, which affects the thyroid and causes memory lapses and depression."[1]
Wallace has also stated in a Council of Conservative Citizens article that "Dylann Roof is a rather strange specimen of a “white supremacist.” Over the past two weeks, we have learned that Roof had dozens of black friends on his Facebook page, that one of his black friends denied he was a “racist,” that he would seamlessly shift between partying with his black friends and going on “white power” rants, that he loved The Oprah Winfrey Show and was fond of watching NASCAR with one of his black friends in his trailer park in Lexington, SC. In his manifesto, Roof condemned blacks for being “stupid and violent,” but proceeded to engage in a heinous act that was both stupid and violent. He posed for photographs on his website in which he brandished weapons like any common black street thug. We can only speculate about this confused young man’s mental state given that he was prone to violent outbursts and was carrying the drug suboxone when he was arrested in North Carolina."[2]
Dylann Roof has been stated to have been inspired by fictional Hollywood Nazi movies and to have been disappointed when he could not find any similar groups in real life despite the existence of many real pro-White groups in his state. "In all his writings and the confession video he talks about being angry that none of the KKK and skinheads he saw in the movies existed in real life. He felt obligated to go out and “do something” to make reality reflect the Hollywood version of the KKK and skinheads. He had two suicide notes in his car and said he planned to commit suicide as soon as he was confronted by police. It sounds like he wanted to reenact the ending of the Hollywood movie Higher Learning. Instead, he chickened out and surrendered. In the confession video, he said he never talked to anyone about race or politics because he was afraid people would disagree with him. Roof was taking his cues from Hollywood movies and acting on a grand stage. He was disappointed with the groups in his own state. They didn’t live up to his expectations."[3] This is rarely mentioned in the mainstream media and Hollywood is not blamed for Dylann Roof's crimes.
In his "Manifesto", Dylan Roof wrote that he “found out about the Jewish problem”, but he wrote little about Jews and wrote that “unlike many White Nationalists” he regarded Jews as White and that “I don’t pretend to understand why Jews do what they do. They are [an] enigma.”[4]
The politically correct mass media has been accused of bias regarding commentary on Dylan Roof and mass shootings by non-Whites, such some common characteristic of Whites being claimed to be the cause of Dylan Roof's shooting, while, for example, mass shootings by fundamentalist Muslims being excused and claimed to not be related to Islam. Thus, for example, the leftist website Salon.com tweeted “White America must answer for the Charleston church massacre.” and “Muslims don’t need to apologize for the Tsarnaevs.” Another example is Dylan Roof's poverty not being mentioned as an excuse or explanation despite poverty regularly being mentioned as an excuse or explanation for non-White crime.[5]
Opponents of gun control have noted that the shooting (similarly to other mass shootings) occurred in a gun-free zone, since civilians according to South Carolina law are not allowed to carry guns in religious sanctuaries.[6]
Council of Conservative Citizens statements
In a manifesto widely attributed to Dylann Roof, he cites the Council of Conservative Citizens ( C of CC) as the organization that first drew his attention to black-on-white crime.C of CC spokesman, Jared Taylor, welcomes media inquiries about the council’s positions and how they relate to Dylann Roof.
The C of CC unequivocally condemns Roof’s murderous actions.
However, the council stands unshakably behind the facts on its website, and points out the dangers of denying the extent of black-on-white crime.
Every year, there are about 500,000 violent, interracial crimes. Of these, about 85 percent are committed by blacks against whites.
Every year, there are some 20,000 rapes of white women by blacks, but rapes by white men of black women are so unusual, they scarcely appear in crime statistics.
If these figures were reversed—if there were wide-spread white-on-black rape and violence—it would be constant national news. Instead, the true nature of interracial violence is ignored.
This is dangerous. Our society’s silence about these crimes—despite enormous amounts of attention to “racially tinged” acts by whites—only increase the anger of people like Dylann Roof. This double standard *only makes acts of murderous frustration more likely*.
In his manifesto, Roof outlines other grievances felt by many whites. Again, we utterly condemn Roof’s despicable killings, but they do not detract in the slightest from the legitimacy of some of the positions he has expressed. *Ignoring legitimate grievances is dangerous*.[7]
Message from the CofCC President:It has been brought to the attention of the Council of Conservative Citizens that Dylann Roof — the alleged perpetrator of mass murder in Charleston this week — credits the CofCC website for his knowledge of black-on-white violent crime.
This is not surprising: The CofCC is one of perhaps three websites in the world that accurately and honestly report black-on-white violent crime, and in particular, the seemingly endless incidents involving black-on-white murder.
The CofCC website exists because media either “spike” such stories, or intentionally obscure the race of black offenders. Indeed, at its national convention some years ago, the Society of Professional Journalists adopted this tactic as a formal policy.
The CofCC is hardly responsible for the actions of this deranged individual merely because he gleaned accurate information from our website.
We are no more responsible for the actions of this sad young man, than the Olin Corporation was for manufacturing the ammo misused by Colin Ferguson to murder six whites on the Long Island Railroad in 1993.
The CofCC does not advocate illegal activities of any kind, and never has. I would gladly compare the honesty and law-abiding nature of our membership against that of any other group.
Earl Holt III, President, CofCC.[7]
