Death in June is a British Neofolk act and is considered as one of the pioneers of the genre. The band's name refers to the Night of the Long Knives in June 1934.
History
The group was founded in 1981 by Douglas Pearce. Death in June has been controversial to leftists due to it's frequent use of National Socialist imagery, such as the Totenkopf of the Schutzstaffel.
