Battle of Thermopylae

The Battle of Thermopylae (480 BC) was a battle in Ancient Greece at the mountain pass of Thermopylae, famous for the heroic defence made by Leonidas I, the Spartan king, against the army of the Achaemenid Empire during the Greco-Persian Wars.
