The Wallace Stand (ca. 1969-1975) was an 8-page political campaign newspaper supporting the presidential candidacy of Governor George C. Wallace of Alabama. In 1969 Wallace paid himself a salary of $14,000 as editor of the paper.[1] The sometimes reliable Washington Observer Newsletter claimed The Wallace Stand brought in $1.5 million annually.[2]

In 1972 it has been alleged The Wallace Stand was expanded into different editions: a working-class version and several different language editions including Polish, Yiddish, German, Spanish and Chinese.[3] It is doubtful if this is true. If these rare campaign memorable papers were ever to appear, they would certainly bring a high price.

In 1975 Wallace and his supporters were still thinking about another presidential campaign. In the June 1975 issue of The Wallace Stand, Ronald Reagan and Wallace were pictured together under the heading "Anything is Possible" suggesting a third party bid for the election of 1976.[4]
