The Brooklyn Tablet
The Brooklyn Tablet, also colloquially referred to as The Tablet, was a weekly newspaper published by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. The paper’s appeal was mainly to Irish Americans. In the 1930s the paper has an estimated circulation of a 100,000. Patrick Scanlan was the paper’s editor. The paper staunchly defended Father Coughlin and the Christian Front.
