Disagree with this. Ukrainian nationalism is a second-half of the 19th century phenomenon. There is no ethnic difference between Slavs living in Ukraine and the rest of Russia. Maybe in Galicia the Ruthenians are slightly different and more westernised, culturally. Certainly they were not speaking Russian between the 14th and 20th centuries. East Ukraine speaks a slightly different dialect of Russian but it does not obscure the fact that these Slavs are all the same.Matt58 (talk) 17:24, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
