Welteislehre

I am shocked to read he supported the fallacious Welteislehre. But did he really support the Welteislehre? I hope not or that if he did he later retracted his support. Wikipedia only gives one source: Herrmann, Joachim (1962). Das falsche Weltbild (in German). Does anyone have that book. What sources are given in that book for the statement that Chamberlain was a supporter of the Welteislehre? (Galileo 17:45, 18 May 2014 (CEST)).

But the sentence he supported WEL is exactly the same, namely He was also an early supporter of the Welteislehre, the theory that most bodies in our solar system are covered with ice. Probably also taken from Herrmann's 1962 book. We need to know from which source Herrmann got his information. (Galileo 21:42, 18 May 2014 (CEST)).
