US-American is rarely used. No one really use that in the english speaking world. I know that one use US-Amerikaner in Germany but this is English Metapedia. People from the United States of America are called Americans. Not US-Americans. --Estellenation 12:33, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

Yes, I would agree rarely, but more and more (especially within academic circles). Even US-Americans are getting less arrogant and realize, that Canadians, South Americans and so on are also Americans. Sources: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], etc. --Crusader (talk) 17:10, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
Why should we do that here on English Metapedia when it so rare in use? That a few academics use it dont really say much. --Estellenation 12:01, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
Because we are an alternative encyclopedia, we wanted and want to go new and improved / expanded / holistic ways. Many topics are rare and selective, but they should or at least can be addressed. --Crusader (talk) 13:10, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
The thing is that no one in America calls themselves US-American. I have done some changes, made it less confusing. I am not against "US-American" but it is just not common at all. --Estellenation 17:12, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
No problem, thanks. --Crusader (talk) 19:52, 22 August 2022 (UTC)
