SourceWatch (previously known as Disinfopedia) is an online wiki project ran by the Center for Media and Democracy, in operation since 2003. It produces a directory of public relations firms, think tanks, industry-funded organizations and industry-friendly experts that work to influence public opinion and public policy on behalf of corporations, governments and special interest groups. The project is described by Wikipedia as "progressive" and its founders Sheldon Rampton and John Stauber as "liberal", but there is much here to interest the general anti-globalist activist and it is fairly neutral. It features honest exposes of pseudo-charities such as Amnesty International and Oxfam, as well as the involvement of the ADL of B'nai B'rith and the SPLC in espionage and Big Brother-esque stalking.
