Politics are the various activities involved in governance of communities, such as those associated with countries and other territorial areas. "Political science" is the scientific study of this. "Political philosophy" is concerned with political ideas and values. A "political party" is an organization aiming to acquire and exercise political power. "Public administration" is the implementation of government policies. Specifically, it is the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling of government operations. It may also include some aspects of developing policies.
