John H. Zimmerlee

John Henry Zimmerlee Jr. (June 9, 1922 - March 1952) was one of the founding members and treasurer of the Atlanta-based nationalist organization The Columbians. Zimmerlee was a veteran and former officer bombardier in the Eighth Army Air Force. When he was a member of the Columbians he was a drafting student at Georgia Tech. Zimmerlee resigned as treasurer of the Columbians after the university threatened to expel him.

Korean War MIA

First Lt. John H. Zimmerlee Jr., an Air Force B-26 navigator, went missing during a night bombing raid over North Korea on March 22, 1952.[1]
