German Library of Information

German Library of Information was organized by the German Consulate in May 1936 and was located at 17 Battery Place, New York City. The library was established to promote a better understanding of National Socialism in Germany. Most of the material they published was in English. Heinz Beller was the library's director.

They issued the publication Facts in Review sent to at mailing list of 70,000 readers.[1] The library also offered and promoted the film Blitzkrieg in the West.

On June 16, 1941 the Roosevelt Administration issued an order closing the German Library of Information in New York.
