The German-American Economic League was an organization that promoted a retaliatory boycott of Jewish goods and merchants in response to the Jewish boycott of National Socialist Germany’s imported goods. The group was referred to with similar names as the German-American Protective Alliance or the German-American Businessmen's Association, but most importantly it was called DAWA (German acronym for the DeutschAmerikanischer Wirtschaft Auscbuss).

Henry Otto Spier was the organization's chief organizer. The group was affiliated with the German American Bund's predecessor organization the Friends of New Germany.

The group’s offices were located at 347 Madison Avenue in New York City.[1]
