Franz Grothe

Franz Johannes August Grothe (b. 17 September 1908 in Berlin, German Empire; d. 12 September 1982 in Cologne, West Germany) was a celebrated and hugely successful composer of music, mainly for films and popular songs.[1]

Family

Grothe was married twice:

  1. Kirsten Heiberg, a Norwegian German actress and singer
  2. Gerda Eckert
