ETA

ETA is a far leftist Basque separatist organization. At least earlier it was ideologically Marxist and used terrorism until a 2010 ceasefire. ETA has been held responsible for killing many hundreds of people and injuring thousands. It is proscribed as a terrorist group in many countries.
