Darrell Brooks was a black man who was convicted for a mass vehicular homicide in Waukesha, Wisconsin on November 21, 2021. His attack killed 6 people and injured 62 others, the majority of whom were white.[1] He was sentenced to over a thousand years in prison.[2]

Attack

One eye witness claimed that Brooks drove in a zigzag pattern.[3]

Motives

Early reporting of the incident claimed that Darrell Brooks had potentially been fleeing a knife incident. Media2Rise obtained an exclusive jailhouse interview with Brooks in which Brooks was asked by Lucca Corgiat if that was the case, Brooks responded by claiming “absolutely not.”[4]

While Derrell Brooks never admitted to why committed his attack, many have speculated that he was motivated by anti-White bias. The claims have been made based on various anti-White social media posts made by Brooks as well as a rap video.[5]

Protests

On October 8, 2022, the National Justice Party demanded hate crime charges be filed against Brooks based on his anti-White social media posts made prior to the attack.[6]

Trial

Darrell Brooks decided to represent himself.[7]
