Nationalism
From Metapedia
(Redirected from Nationalist)
Nationalism is a political ideology advocating voelkisch values, centered on an ethnic or cultural heritage pertaining to a specific nation and its descendents.
Nationalists advocate preserving traditions, language, race, folklore, religion and customs. The 19th and 20th-century nationalist movements grew out of the need to recognize independent nation-states, and later to counter the spread of international Bolshevism. During the 20th century, nationalism would be based on inherent genetic and cultural differences among the peoples of Europe, exemplified in National Socialist Germany.
