A past editor of Wikipedia, who first became disenchanted when trying to correct an error within his professional capability as a technical editor on computing. My correction was removed because the error had been printed in a book and that was all that counted. I looked up another book which had the correct information, quoted that book and removed the error again. My change was rejected once more because the book I quoted sold less than the book with the error. A year later, I yet again tried to correct the error because the second edition of the original book had been published with correct information: even this was rejected because the technical editor of that second editions was me and therefore I was considered biased in trying to present factual information! (I finally gave up at that point.)

On social issues, I find Wikipedia to be very sexist against men and not only is a balanced viewpoint unwelcome there but even alternate viewpoints are not welcomed.

Hopefully, scholastic additions and corrections will be welcome here.
