The X-RAY

The X-RAY was a weekly newspaper founded by Court Asher. The paper was a four column four-page publication. The X-RAY was published in Muncie, Indiana first appearing September 11, 1937.[1] The paper ended publication in 1950.

During World War II the US government found the publication to be “65 percent subversive” and it was banned from the US mail.

The paper's motto was "A Beacon for Taxpayers and Honest Labor."
